Tree Seedling Distribution – ELCO 4th grade

On Friday, May 5th the Lebanon County Conservation District (LCCD) distributed tree seedlings to over 200 ELCO 4th graders as part of LCCD’s Community Outreach.

LCCD’s Program Specialist, Angie Foltz, and Administrative Assistant, Valarie Weaber, gave a short presentation to each 4th grade class about the importance of conservation and agricultural land preservation in Lebanon County. Afterwards, each student was given a potted White Spruce with care instructions to plant at home.

This outreach was made possible with proceeds from the Lebanon County Conservation District Annual Tree and Plant Sale which was held on Thursday, May 4th at the Lebanon EXPO.
