Grant Award Announcement, October 2, 2026

The Lebanon County Conservation District (LCCD) is honored to receive a $120,000 grant from the HerZimBa Foundation to support conservation and agricultural preservation efforts in 2027.

The grant will help us:

  • Preserve farmland through agricultural conservation easements

  • Support real-time water quality and flood monitoring through the Swatara Creek Supergage

  • Celebrate local farmers and promote conservation through our Lebanon County Conservation & Preservation Banquet

With more than 21,894 acres already preserved through 198 agricultural conservation easements, this investment will help us continue protecting Lebanon County’s farms, waterways, and natural resources.

We are incredibly grateful to the HerZimBa Foundation for supporting our mission and investing in the future of our community.
