Rain Barrel Workshop
LCCD is holding a Rain Barrel Workshop on Friday, March 27, from 6PM to 7:30PM at the Lebanon Valley Ag Center. Participants will learn about rain barrels and water quality and will receive a 50-gallon rain barrel. Registration is $30 and rain barrels are limited to one barrel per household.
The 2026 workshop is full. To be put on the waitlist for future workshops, email Katie at katie.hollen@lccd.org

2026 Lebanon County Tire Collection
This year’s tire collection is happening Wednesday, April 29th from 8am - 4pm at the Lebanon Expo Center. 10 auto OR 1 oversized tire can be collected for free, as long as funds are available in your municipality. Funding is available on a first-come basis. Tires must be off the rim, drained of water, and not excessively dirty. Proof of address is required. Sporting Clay Fundraiser
LCCD will be holding its first annual Sporting Clay Fundraiser at the Heidelberg Sportsman’s Association on Friday, September 25. Proceeds will support environmental education efforts in Lebanon County.

Community Wildlife Safety
Raven Ridge Wildlife Center will be presenting a Community Wildlife Safety Program on March 13 at 6:00pm.
This program is about equipping the local community to handle wildlife emergencies and increasing the well-being of both the animals and the people who interact with them. Participants will learn:
A deeper dive into the field of wildlife rehabilitation
How to safely handle and transport injured wildlife
How to determine if an animal truly needs help (and when it's best to leave it alone)
What to do if you find baby animals—and when the parent is likely just out of sight
Best practices for human-wildlife interactions
