Water Week: Paddle the Swatara Creek Water Trail
Join the Swatara Watershed Association and Cocoa Kayaks for a guided paddle on the Swatara Creek! Boaters will enjoy a two-hour paddle from Harpers Tavern to Swatara Watershed Park. The registration fee will include all equipment and lunch. More information here.

The 2026 Lancaster-Lebanon Watershed Forum will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Elizabethtown College! This free event is a great opportunity for watershed protection volunteers and professionals to learn, discuss issues, and share ideas. Registration information will be coming soon.

Rain Barrel Workshop
LCCD is holding a rain barrel workshop on Tuesday, June 23. Participants will learn about water quality and non-point source pollution and will receive a 55-gallon rain barrel. The cost to attend is $30. Rain barrels are limited to one per household.
This workshop is full. To be placed on a waiting list to receive notification of future workshops, please contact Katie at katie.hollen@lccd.org.

2026 Lebanon County Tire Collection
This year’s tire collection is happening Wednesday, April 29th from 8am - 4pm at the Lebanon Expo Center. 10 auto OR 1 oversized tire can be collected for free, as long as funds are available in your municipality. Funding is available on a first-come basis. Tires must be off the rim, drained of water, and not excessively dirty. Proof of address is required.
